Background
I design and develop custom-branded research templates used by investment banks to author and publish research across multiple formats.
These templates function as the foundation of each client's research workflow, allowing analysts to focus on content while ensuring outputs are accurate, compliant, and visually consistent with each firm's brand.
My role sits at the intersection of design systems and front-end engineering. I translate each client's branding, layout needs, and data requirements into flexible authoring templates, then implement them directly within their publishing environment.
On the technical side, the web outputs dynamically generate XML based on client-specific configurations, pulling in structured financial and company data from internal models and their admin setup. I use XSLT to transform this data into production-ready layouts, ensuring information appears correctly and consistently across all formats.
This work supports hundreds of clients simultaneously, requiring solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and adaptable to different branding rules, data structures, and publishing constraints.
Process
Investment banks publish complex, data-heavy research consistently across formats while maintaining strict brand standards and produce high-stakes research that must:
- Be accurate and compliant

- One-click publishing reliably across web, PDF, email, etc.

Solution
A scalable, design-driven template system that bridges authoring, data, and output.
I design and implement custom authoring templates that:
- Encode each client's brand system (typography, spacing, hierarchy, tone)
- Guide analysts toward consistent, readable layouts
- Dynamically pull in structured financial and company data
- Render reliably across web, PDF, and email outputs
- Scalability: solutions must work across dozens of clients without becoming brittle
